A haldi done with flowers: baskets of yellow petals, marigold arches, pastel outfits and a family that emptied every basket.
The story
This haldi was all about flowers. The couple walked in under arches of yellow marigolds, she in powder blue and pink and he in turquoise, and sat down to a family armed with wicker baskets of yellow petals.
What followed was the happiest kind of chaos. We shot the flower shower low and close, so the petals fill the frame and the couple's faces show through. There are more laughing photos in this gallery than we could ever fit in one album.
Before the petals we made a few calm portraits: the walk in under the arches, and the two of them holding bunches of pink and blue balloons beside the marigolds.
