Sangeet
Stars, lights and a live stage
a sangeet story
A sangeet that felt like a concert: neon arches, a live stage, the groom on the mic and a bride who danced all night.

The story
This sangeet was staged like a concert, with neon arches, a lighting rig and a stage the couple were happy to take over. She wore ivory sequins and he wore black, which gave us bold contrast for black and white.
We switched between colour and monochrome all night. Colour for the stage, the neon and their flower-covered sofa. Black and white for the dance floor, where the groom disappeared into his friends and the bride laughed straight down the lens.
The frame they keep sending us is the two of them sharing one microphone, singing to the crowd.
