Mustard and ivory against old ochre walls: a haldi in a haveli, with portraits on narrow red stairs lined with sunflowers.
The story
The haveli did a lot of the styling for us. It had ochre walls, carved arches, narrow red stairs and old wooden furniture, and the couple matched it in ivory and mustard.
We started with portraits while the light was soft: the two of them on a stone bench, her on the stairs between brass pots of sunflowers, and him on an old wooden chest under the arched windows.
Then the haldi began, the sunglasses came out, and the photos turned into pure fun.
